The Solnice brewery was founded in 2018 in the historical center of České Budějovice.
The brewery is physically connected by a unique beer pipe leading to the Solnice Restaurant on Piarist Square. Beer is prepared here with
an emphasis on the highest standard of raw materials using the technologies of the renowned manufacturer Kaspar Schulz. The gable of the brewery building, now completely reconstructed, features a painting of St. Václav, the patron of Czech beer and breweries.
The beer’s quality is overseen by the chief brewmaster and renowned teacher Ing. Ivan Dufek, member of the Czech brewing and malting industry’s Hall of Fame. All beers produced in the Solnice brewery meet the criteria to use the PGI designation “Czech beer”. They are unfiltered and unpasteurized.
